Common questions
Is this medical care?
No. Membership gives you health education and written answers to general questions. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not a substitute for a doctor who can examine you.
What kind of question can I ask each month?
General questions: what a test measures, what a diagnosis usually means, what the evidence says about a treatment, what to ask at your next appointment. What our doctors cannot do is tell you what is wrong with you or what to take.
How fast is the answer?
Within five working days, in writing. Urgent things should never go through a membership queue. See a doctor where you live.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in two clicks, and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. There is no cancellation email to write and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
Do you sell my data or run ads?
No. There is no advertising on this site, no affiliate supplement links, and your data is never sold or shared with marketers. Membership fees are how the library stays independent.
Is there a discount for annual?
Yes. $299 a year instead of $348, which works out as two months free.
